Four steps

Get started

  1. Get Eggbeater — it's free.
    Get the free Eggbeater app on the App Store (iPhone & iPad), or just open app.eggbeater.app in any browser — no download needed, and it works great on Android too. (The Android app is in beta — the web works right away.) The same app is on Apple TV.
  2. Enter your session code.
    On the “Join a club or tournament” screen, type your session code — JOS126, JOS226, or JOS326 — and tap Join. Or tap your session’s share link above and skip the typing.
  3. Find your team.
    Pick your age group & division from the list, then tap your team.
  4. Watch.
    You land on your team’s Games (live scores + schedule) and Bracket. The Bracket tab has My Path (your team’s route to the final), Pool Standings, All Games (the full draw), and a Watch List to follow up to 3 rival teams. On the iOS and Android apps you also get My Player and Team tabs.

Open Eggbeater on the TV, then pair with your phone (scan a code — no typing) or enter the 6-character code. You get the tournament dashboard: Live · Bracket · Standings · Scores.

How it works

How scores update

Every score refreshes automatically — every few seconds, no reload. Where the number comes from depends on the game:

  • From the tournament desk (default, most games). The score updates as soon as the desk posts it to the official master schedule, which Eggbeater syncs automatically. So it’s as fast as the desk enters it — usually a few minutes behind live, not goal-by-goal.
  • Live-scored — instant. If a game is being live-scored right in the Eggbeater scorer, every goal, exclusion and shootout appears the moment it happens at the table — true play-by-play, plus a live-updating bracket and optional GroupMe posts.

If you’re a parent, coach or team volunteer who can score your own team’s games, email hello@eggbeater.app and we’ll set you up with scorer access — then your team’s games update in real time, for everyone following. Otherwise, scores follow the desk.

How the bracket works

The Bracket tab shows the full draw for your division. My Path traces your team’s route to the final — win, and you advance to face the next game’s winner. As results come in — from the desk or from live scoring — the bracket fills in automatically: winners advance and your path updates. Pool Standings show W–L and goal differential within each pool, and All Games is the complete draw.

How the schedule works

The Games / Schedule tab lists every one of your team’s games — opponent, date, time, and pool/venue — from the official schedule. When games span multiple venues you can flip By time / By venue to find everything at one pool. Games move into Results as they finish.

Which session code do I use?
Session I is JOS126, Session II is JOS226, and Session III is JOS326. Not sure which session your team is in? As a rough guide, girls and mixed teams play Session I, boys play Session II, and the open age groups play Session III — but this is provisional, so confirm your session on the official Junior Olympics schedule.
How do I find my team?
After you enter your session code and tap Join, pick your age group and division from the list, then tap your team. You land on your team's Games (live scores and schedule) and Bracket.
Is Eggbeater free?
Yes. Following a team — live scores, schedule, brackets and standings — is free on the phone apps, on Apple TV, and in any web browser.
Do I need an account to follow the Junior Olympics?
No. Just enter your session code (JOS126, JOS226 or JOS326) — no login or sign-up is required to follow live scores and brackets.
When do the session codes go live?
Session I (JOS126) is complete — its full schedule, rosters and final scores stay loaded in the app. Session II (JOS226) is live, with every game and division scored as it plays. Session III (JOS326) activates when its schedule is posted, ahead of its July 30 start.
How fast are the scores?
